First of all,Thatโs because our pasta doesnโt have any type of animal products. Generally, pasta dough has eggs on the mixture. Our dough is made with water, semolina and fresh vegetables. Second, a new study presented at the 2017 Food and Nutrition Conference & Expo in Chicago revealed that the diets of adult pasta eaters are associated with higher total daily vegetable intake than the diets of non-pasta eaters. The increase in the consumption of vegetables referred specifically to red and orange vegetables, such as tomatoes. In fact, the research showed that pasta eaters ate about twice as many tomatoes as non-pasta eaters. Tomatoes are an excellent source of vitamin C and other antioxidants like lycopene. The pasta eaters also had a higher intake of whole grains compared to the non-pasta eaters. That said, after knowing this great information, we find it interesting to combine pasta with vegetables to provide vitamins, nutrients and better flavor.
